A Wisconsin soccer official for decades.
Kabanica, who was born in Yugoslavia and emigrated to the United States in 1950 at the age of 25, was a member of the Wisconsin state soccer association’s Board of Directors from 1962 to 1972. He then was elected president of the association in 1972, and served as president well into the 1980s.
Prior to getting into soccer administration, Kabanica had been a player for the Milwaukee Serbians from 1951 to 1960. He then was coach of the team throughout the 1960s.
Inducted in 1987.
