Manager of the Elizabeth SC team that won a series of honors in the late 1940s.
Klein, who was born in Egypt and moved to America from Germany in 1923, had taken over as manager of the team in 1941 after a playing career with several New Jersey clubs, and managed it until he retired in 1951. Under Klein, the Falcons won the German-American League championship in 1947, took that title again in 1948, and in 1949 won a triple of the German-American League, the New Jersey State Challenge Cup and the National Amateur Cup.
Inducted in 1953.
