President of the United States Soccer Football Association from 1948 to 1950, and manager of the United States team at the 1950 World Cup in Brazil.
Geisler, a former player with Ben Millers of the St. Louis professional league, rose through the ranks of Missouri soccer administrators after retiring as a player, including serving as chairman and secretary of the Missouri Soccer Commission.
Geisler coached the United States team at the 1948 Olympic Games in London, and then took on management of the full national team, which included many of the same players as the Olympic team. As both USSFA president and team manager, he was heavily involved in the selection of the roster for the team that went on to upset England in that World Cup.
Inducted in 1962.
